Meet Your Sales Team
Kevin & Katrina Scribner
|
Kevin & Katrina took over ownership of Scribner Auction in Nov '06. Since then they have moved the auction to a new building in the town of Wainwright and have made it a full time auction facility. Kevin as well as auctioneering and managing the business, also provides an auto glass supply & installation service. Katrina manages and administrates the auction business in addition to owning/operating Katz Antiques Etc. in Wainwright. Both are pleased to be providing a full time auction service and look forward to many years of saying "SOLD"! |

Ron & Marsha began Scribner Auction in 2000 from their home shop just south of Wainwright. Since passing the torch to Kevin & Katrina, they have both remained an active part of the Auction. Marsha spends a great deal of time with set up and coordination of the sale as well as helps with the marketing end of things. She has also started submitting articles to the Discovering Antiques publication in which Scribner Auction advertises regularly. Ron has continued to assist Kevin with auctioneering at each sale as time permits. Ron & Marsha own and operate a custom spraying business which takes up a great deal of their time during the spring/summer/fall seasons. Their support and time in the auction business is greatly appreciated! |

Heather Dyer
|
Heather has been with Scribner Auction Ltd. for a couple of years now. Her main function with the auction is as clerk. Each item that sells is recorded immediately and it takes someone that is very focussed and detailed to perform this job. Heather prefers to be called an "IP" which means she is an inventory processor. Heather works full time for a local law firm as a real estate conveyancer, and we fully appreciate that she has given up many of her Saturdays to process the auction inventory. News from Heather is that she is currently engaged to be married November 2008! Congrats! |

Twyla has been with Scribner Auction Ltd. for several years now. Her main function with the auction is cashier. Twyla currently works for a local bank and brings with her a great deal of experience dealing with the public and of course handling money. Her upbeat attitude and patience are the qualities that make her the right choice for the job as cashier. Her dedication to the auction which in most cases means giving up a Saturday or Friday night, is most appreciated! |

Tera Gardner
|
Tera began working with the auction in 2007. It seemed a good fit, as Tera was one of our frequent buyers. Tera's role with the auction is primarily as camera operator. This job requires a steady hand and a lot of patience. We enjoy her enthusiasm for the auction business and have been very pleased to welcome Tera to the auction staff. News from Tera is that she and another of our part-time staff members "Frenchy" are to be married August 2008! Congrats! |

Brian (aka: B800) has also just joined the auction staff in 2007. Brian has attended many of our auction sales and was always seen at the end of each sale helping all the buyers load their purchases of the day into their vehicles. We realized that he should be on staff as he is a very hard worker and very dedicated to anything he sets his mind to. We nicknamed him the B800 (which infers that he is like a machine), this is a compliment, because he does not shy away from any task, big or small. B800 is our lead bid spotter, and has proven to have a very keen eye for spotting bids. His full time employment is with the Canadian Military, so we appreciate that he gives up much of his free time at the auction. He also deploys all the sale signs on sale morning (very early), so we all have him to thank for showing us the way to the auction! |

Kim Pierce
|
Kim joined our staff a couple of years ago, and we are thrilled! Kim is the one person at every sale that marks the purchase'rs bid number on the item when it sells, and then runs it to the packing area to keep it organized for the buyers. Her energy and efficiency is not comparable. Kim resides in Wainwright and wears many hats for so many people. She is a full time care attendant as well as holding a part time job at a local company as a book keeper. Usually Kim finds herself running all day at an Auction sale and then running right out the door to her next job. Her organizational skills and vast experience would make her an asset to any company and we are very glad she has shown up in our business! |

Ron & MaryAnn perform different roles at the auction, but have both become equally a great asset to the operation of the auction. Ron fills in as a ring person and bid spotter when his schedule allows. He has a great enthusiasm for the auction business and his years of experience lend greatly to our mission on sale day. He also has spent time with Kevin on various tasks in the building prior to the auction sales, which enhance the quality and appearance of each sale. MaryAnn has come on board as the owner/operator of "Mom's Kitchen", only the best auction concession around! She runs a very clean and organized kitchen and provides some of the best home made eats in town. We are so pleased to have her running the concession, and I'm sure we'll all have to run an extra mile to work off her great pies! The sign says "Eat at Mom's! Mom makes it, you eat it, that's the deal!" |

Well first of all, you wouldn't even be reading about our staff if it wasn't for Roy! He is the webmaster who has created this site as you know it now. Scribner Net Dot Com! When you enter our site, and see the organized home page which allows you to navigate through all the upcoming sales, view pictures and listings, this is all thanks to Roy! He has made a user friendly site, which provides endless information for upcoming sales and even past auctions. Roy is able to report to us that we receive thousands of hits per month on our website, and this is because of ease of finding the site through various search engines. Our site is safe and child friendly as well as informative and professional. We receive many compliments on our website and this is all due to the care, attention and countless hours that Roy has dedicated to our site. |
